HOW CAN RELATIONSHIP COUNSELLING HELP ME?
Relationship Counselling offers support through major relationship crises or smaller issues making you unhappy
Couples therapy will provide a safe space for you to explore the issues. You are both given the chance to explore and discuss the root of the problem. The focus of couple therapy sessions is never on one partner or the other. The emphasis is on the relationship between you. Both of you will have a chance to speak and be heard.
For some, it can transform their relationships and lives; for others, it can help solve a specific problem and to move forward with more confidence and less anxiety.
Each session usually lasts 50 minutes
Both partners can talk in confidence to me to explore what has gone wrong in the relationship and how to change things for the better. It can help a couple learn more about each other’s needs and communicate better. As part of relationship counselling, I also see couples individually.
Even if things don’t change, counselling may help you to see things in a different way or make the decision that’s right for you to move forward. Talking to someone who isn’t involved in the relationship can help.
